Keep your four-legged family members happy and healthy with these tips

RICHMOND, Va - Dr. Danielle Spencer-David returned to the show to give us some advice on how to keep our four-legged family members happy and healthy. Dr. Danielle walked us through the signs, symptoms, and treatment for Intervertebral Disk Disease in dogs, a disease common in breeds such as Dachshunds, Beagles, Corgis, German Shepherds, and others. The longer the pet has been unable to walk, especially if longer than 48 hours, the percentage of successful treatment drops significantly, so call your veterinarian right away if your dog cannot walk and/or has deep pain present in the limbs.
