This weekend included a change to daylight saving time, but is also included a much warmer temperature trend. After highs in the mid 50s on Saturday, the high hit 66° at Richmond International Airport around 4 p.m. Sunday. It hasn’t been this warm since early February.
Much of the past week or so featured highs below normal, except for Wednesday. Temps crashed on Thursday as the winter storm spread in rain, sleet and snow. Friday’s high of 31° was 4° below our normal low temperature for this point of the year.
The forecast for the next ten days or so includes temperatures mostly above normal as we get closer to Spring.
