Art meets literature for a joint art show/book signing, ‘Back Roads: People, Places & Paint’

RICHMOND, Va - Artist Betsy M. Kellum and Photographer Bob Brown visited the studio to talk about their upcoming joint art show and book signing, ‘Back Roads: People, Places & Paint.’ Bill Lohmann and Bob Brown published the book ‘Back Roads: People, Places, and Pie Around Virginia,’ a project that featured little known hidden gems around Virginia. Betsy saw the book as an opportunity for art and literature to intersect for a beautiful reflection on local culture. Four artists, including Betsy, have been painting work related to the book for over a year. The art show and book signing are Friday, March 20th from 6pm to 9pm at Crossroads Art Center.
