CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — Police are investigating a fatal shooting along the 5200 block of Castlewood Road in Chesterfield County. Police were called to the apartment, near Cogbill Road, to investigate an assault with a deadly weapon. When police arrived, officers found a body outside, police sources told CBS 6 News.
Investigators have not yet determined whether the shooting victim was shot on accident, committed suicide or the victim of a homicide, Chesterfield Police Captain Mike Louth said. This is a developing story.
