Jam to some ‘slackgrass’ tunes with a performance by The Slack Family Band

RICHMOND, Va - The Slack Family Band is a five-member string band who always deliver great performances.  They performed, “No More to Leave You Behind.” Their blend of traditional, contemporary, and original tunes created a sound fans affectionately dubbed “slackgrass.” The Slack Family Band will be performing as part of the 12-hour Bluegrass Marathon Jam to Benefit Richmond Fisher House, a home away from home for the families of veterans and active duty soldiers recovering at Richmond’s McGuire Veterans Medical Center. The event is Saturday, February 21st from 12pm to 12am at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen. Virginia This Morning Co-Hosts Jessica Noll and Bill Bevins are Emcees for the event.
