RICHMOND, Va -- A new survey finds construction workers are the happiest workers.
Business magazine Fast Company reports on a survey by TINYpulse on worker satisfaction. TINYpulse surveyed 30,000 employees in 12 industries anonymously.
Construction workers have a number of factors working in their favor. The construction sector has seen growth following the recession. Construction workers also have career coaching and mentorship opportunities, which lets them move on to new opportunities.
The survey also found the top factors that reduce worker satisfaction. They include having managers who aren't supportive, not having the tools to succeed, and not having the opportunity for professional growth.
