TAMPA, Fla. -- It's probably not the way a man pictured his car 'burning rubber.'
A man in Tampa thinking of buying a Lamborghini was trying it out when he began to see and smell smoke. When he pulled into a parking lot, he noticed fire coming out of the car's engine compartment.
The fire soon engulfed the entire car, and it became so intense that a nearby restaurant had to be evacuated.
"You could literally feel the intensity of that heat from here all the way over to the church," said a pastor whose church was near where the car caught fire. "I'm telling you, on the porch you could feel the heat."
Fire investigators say a problem in the engine caused the fire. The $150,000 car was a total loss.
