RICHMOND, Va - This winter brought a record number of kids out of school with the flu and the CDC’s warning that flu vaccines may not be as effective this year. Heather Usry, Nurse for Rainbow Station, stopped by the studio to provide some tips on how to avoid contact with the flu and spreading the flu virus. She also brought in some items that you and your family might come into contact with on a daily basis that you may not think to disinfect.
