Robber with knife on crime spree

Posted

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. -- Four businesses hit in just six days. Three of them in Colonial Heights and one in southern Chesterfield County. In all but one, the robber gets away with cash.

Police say it happens the same way, he walks in, with a hoodie and a mask, pulls out a knife and a plastic bag, demanding the clerk fill it with cash.

Twice he's robbed the Exxon on the Boulevard in Colonial Heights and Thursday night, he attempted to rob the Papa Johns.

"It's very scary, it is very scary because it's a very nice area, very quiet, we never hear nothing about it" says Jeame Baez, the owner of Bonita's Beauty Salon, just a few doors down from Papa Johns.

Last Monday he robbed the La Tapatia Convenience Store in Chesterfield, which borders Colonial Heights.

Police say the suspect is a white male, 25-35 years of age, five feet ten inches, slender build.
