NEW YORK — The best gifts can come in the most unassuming packaging. A plain white envelope seems to have certainly held one of the best Christmas presents ever for this family.
Joe Riquelme, an app developer in New York, posted a video to YouTube Thursday that shows his generous act.
Riquelme surprised his parents by handing them an envelope that read, “Your house is paid off. Merry Xmas. -Joe.” It also included documents from their mortgage account, according to Daily Mail.
Upon reading the note his parents could not contain their emotions.
