HANOVER COUNTY, Va. -- Officials said a speeding car slammed into a McDonald's in Hanover County Sunday night.
It happened at the McDonald's in the 9100 block of Chamberlayne Avenue just before 7 p.m.
That's where Hanover deputies said witnesses told them a man driving a 2006 Chevy Impala was speeding in the parking lot before he lost control of the vehicle and slammed into the side of the building.
The damage was limited to one of the restaurant's large glass windows.
No one was injured.
The 28-year-old driver was charged with reckless driving.
The restaurant is expected to be open on Monday.
