HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — A Midlothian woman has been arrested after officers found her empty car at a railroad crossing near Hungary Road and Purcell Road early Sunday morning.
Henrico police said 24-year old Ashley Webb parked her car on the railroad tracks around 1:30 a.m. before the vehicle was as hit by a freight train.
The car was reportedly pushed about a half a mile down the tracks. .
Webb was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and second offense DUI. The only damage done was to the vehicle.
Police shut down traffic for nearly a mile around the area while crews cleared away the wreckage.
There were no injuries reported.
