ORLANDO, Fla. — One girl certainly has no issue putting one of Disney’s most chauvinistic characters in his place at Disney World.
A video posted to YouTube shows a girl named Isabella meeting with an actor dressed as Gaston from “Beauty and the Beast” at the park.
When the actor tells the girl that he is about to marry Belle, and then asks if she has seen the “horrible beast and ugly candlestick,” Isabelle puts him in his place.
“No. The beast is my favorite character,” Isabella fires back.
The girl laughs as the two pose for a picture.
“Now that you have met me, and you see that I am the most handsome man in town, you know I am much better than that beast,” the actor says.
But Isabella quickly sets him straight.
“No, no, no, no. The Beast is marrying Belle… No, he will win the fight,” Isabella proclaims.
After seeing that little Isabella is not backing down, Gaston admits he has been “disgraced” and “publicly humiliated,” but insists he will still have Belle.
Not so fast, Isabella says.
“The beast just turned into a prince and he’s stronger than you,” she shouts.
“Well, we already know who will win that fight, don’t we,” the actor asks.
“No, he will win the fight,” Isabella says. “He’s gonna win the race.”
“Just go stare at my statue for awhile and come to your senses,” the actor says, clearly enjoying the attention.
“I can’t follow this,” the woman recording the video laughs.
