Boynton Beach, Fl. — A Boynton Beach family will get to share in the holiday spirit thanks to two of the city’s finest.
Officers Ward and Paramore went to an apartment Saturday night after someone at the residence called 911 but quickly hung up.
It turned out a young child was playing with the phone and accidentally dialed 911.
While investigating the circumstances of the call they spoke with a little girl who told them that she was sad because her family wasn’t going to have a Christmas tree this year.
The officers returned the next day and they weren’t empty-handed, reported WPTV. They delivered a Christmas tree, a stand, lights and ornaments.
One of the children was so happy she hugged the tree.
