This man is accused of stealing from 39 businesses in Henrico, Chesterfield and Richmond

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Police have tied more than three dozen burglaries to one man.

David Allen Williamson, 50, of Alfalfa Lane in Chesterfield, is accused of burglarizing 19 businesses in Henrico County, 12 businesses in Richmond and eight businesses in Chesterfield County.

“On November 6, 2014, Henrico Police located a suspicious male in the area of a recent burglary,” Henrico Police spokesman Lt. Chris Eley wrote in an email. “On November 7, 2014, detectives responded to the residence of Williamson and were able to locate items taken in some of the recent burglaries.”

Williamson was arrested on November 24.

“This case exemplifies the collaboration and cooperation between metro Richmond law enforcement agencies, which resulted in solving not only the 19 commercial robberies in Henrico but also a large number of similar robberies in Chesterfield and Richmond,” Eley said.
