CHESTERFIELD- Several of Chesterfield County’s public safety departments conducted an active threat exercise at Chesterfield Towne Center Sunday morning.
The training allowed crews to coordinate and respond to a simulated active threat situation and evaluate their collaborative response.
The exercise involved Chesterfield County Police and Fire and EMS, as well as Mall Management and Security.
The exercise will start at 7 a.m. and be over by about 11 a.m.; the mall will open for business at its regularly scheduled time.
