RICHMOND, Va. -- There are a lot of great places to get barbecue in Virginia.
From long established restaurants to roadside stands, it should not be hard to find the barbecue style and type that suits your taste buds.
But only one barbecue restaurant in Virginia was named to USA Today's list of 10 Best Southern barbecue spots.
And the winner is...
"Wildly popular among visitors to nearby Colonial Williamsburg, Pierce's has been churning out top-notch barbecue and classic Southern sides in its homey location since 1971," USA Today wrote. "The restaurant hasn't bothered to correct the sign-maker's error ("Pitt"), and also unchanged is the sauce's secret family recipe, which dates back more than eight decades."
Do you agree with USA Today's opinion?
Does Pierce's Pitt Bar-B-Que serve the best barbecue in Virginia -- or does another restaurant put out a better plate of pulled pork, chicken and ribs.
