DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. — Farmer Earl Chappell wants people to notice his cotton crop this year. Chappell and his sons wrapped their cotton bales with pink plastic for Breast Cancer Awareness month.

“I lost a sister to cancer in the early 80’s, so it’s close to me.” Chappell said. “We were able to get the pink plastic and we hope it will help somebody get the idea to go get a check-up early.”
