TRENTON, New Jersey — The Twitter account for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie joked about the “dangers of autocorrect” after a typo led to a deleted tweet.
About half an hour earlier, his account posted a somewhat unintelligible tweet that seemed to be a misfire and used the word “bongs.” The tweet was captured by Politwoops, a website that tracks deleted tweets by politicians.
A few minutes after the deleted tweet, his account posted what appears to be the tweet that was supposed to go up.
