“Still We Rise – Celebrating the Power of Women’s Stories” with Stacy Hawkins Adams

Richmond: Award Winning Author, Journalist and Speaker Stacy Hawkins Adams celebrates her 10th anniversary as a published author with An Inspirational Brunch, Saturday, October 25th, 10am - 12:30pm at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, 1800 Lakeside Avenue.

The speakers features speakers from the community and includes Producer, Entrepreneur - Daphne Maxwell Reid, Professional writer and VCU Basketball First Lady - Maya Smart, Miss Virginia '93' & Soloist - Nancy Glisson-Lucy, Pastor, Missionary - Rev. Dr. Jacqueline Madison-McCreary, Breast Cancer Survivor, Educator - Kristin Harris, Women's Advocate, Ministry Leader - Muriel Branch, Child Advocate, Grad Student - Allison Gilbreath, and Founder, Impact 100 Richmond - Talley Baratka.

What you'll experience from the panel of women, true stories, overcoming a challenge or pursuing a dream, and examples of how fiction can transform one's reality and motivation to find purpose along your path.
