RICHMOND, Va. -- The man police say jumped from lee bridge in Richmond Friday morning is expected to survive.
Officers were called to Belle Isle just before 8 a.m. when a jogger there heard a splash and screams.
Before police arrived the jogger went into the water and grabbed the man – and took him to a rock to wait for police.
The victim is being treated for broken bones.
The jogger who jumped in after him was not injured.
