RICHMOND, Va - Cynthia Reed visited the studio to promote the 4th Annual Jeff Reed Memorial 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run in honor of her brother Jeffrey A. Reed who was killed while on a 15 month tour in Iraq with the United States Army. This year’s race will benefit the Jeffrey A. Reed Memorial Fund, which awards a $1000 scholarship at the end of each academic year to a deserving graduate of Chesterfield County high schools who is a child of veterans. The race will be held a L.C. Bird High School, Jeff’s alma mater, on Saturday, October 11th. The 5K begins at 10am with the 1-Mile Fun Run immediately following.
