RICHMOND, Va -- A Richmond man was arrested after police said he returned to a home in the Fan that had been burglarized to pick up loot he'd hidden in a bush.
The suspect returned to the scene of the crime about 20 minutes after he successfully evaded capture, according to a Richmond Police Department Facebook post. The victim called police, who quickly responded and arrested the suspect.
Richmond Police identified the suspect as Danny M. Thomas, Jr. Police said the victim was at his home in the Fan when a man broke in and stole several things.
