PETERSBURG- Police have identified the victim that was found shot inside a vehicle, early Saturday morning.
Petersburg police have identified Jimmell Jones, 33, of Petersburg, Va. as the deceased.
According to Petersburg police, units discovered a crashed vehicle on the 1700 block of Berkeley Avenue, around 6a.m.
Police say the driver was found fatally wounded by gunshots.
Detectives ask anyone who saw two cars driving recklessly in the Walnut Hill neighborhood around 5:30 a.m. Saturday to call Crime Solvers at 861-1212.
