RICHMOND, Va. -- Hundreds of cyclists spent the weekend pedaling dozens of miles across Central Virginia to raise awareness for multiple sclerosis.
TheBike MS: Ride Virginia 2014 kicked off Saturday morning in Richmond and continued to Williamsburg.
Sherri Ellis, President of the Central & Eastern Virginia Chapter, said over 400 riders came out Saturday morning to held find a cure.
The riders raised over $450,000 to help find a cure and help families dealing with MS.
CBS 6 anchor Bill Fitzgerald, director Brock Taylor and master control operator Eric Lee took part in the event.
