RICHMOND, Va - Kids that live in Richmond's public housing neighborhoods were invited to play a fun game of football hosted by Virginia Union's football team.

Siena Heights University came out to play against the group.

Mark James Virginia Union's head coach created the initiative to connect our future leaders with college band members, athletes, student government and many other that are apart of the school.

Virginia Union University has also partnered with local schools in the area to help the kids study and complete their homework.

Growing by leaps and bounds the program has more than 270 kids registered for the program at no cost and more are signing up.
