Men swipe $200,000 in jewelry from home

SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. – Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested three men accused of stealing more than $200,000 worth of items from a home in Twin Springs Estates.

Paul White, 27 of Spotsylvania; John Richardson III, 27 of Spotsylvania and Blake Brightwell, 28 of Fredericksburg were arrested on Friday, according to the Spotsylvania County Sheriff Office.

The suspects are charged with felony breaking and entering, conspiracy to commit breaking and entering, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit grand larceny and several other charges.

Detectives recovered a large portion of the stolen property, including jewelry. Detectives are still investigating to locate the remainder of the stolen property.

During the investigation, detectives discovered that the same three suspects were responsible for the felony grand larceny of a series of lottery tickets from a Wawa store in Cosner’s Corner on August 6.

White, Richardson, and Brightwell are being held in the Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
