RICHMOND, Va - Claiborne Mason, President of Virginia Home for Boys and Girls, and Karen Rice, LCSW, Clinical Supervisor for Therapeutic Resources for VHBG, stopped by the studio to talk about dealing with stresses of going to back to school and other behavioral issues. For many children and their families, school can be stressful at times, but having the right strategies to balance that stress can be good for the mind and the body. The Virginia Home for Boys and Girls Teaching-Family Model has provided a comprehensive, family-driven, youth guided array of services and support.
