Calling all volunteers to HELP Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital

RICHMOND, Va - Donna Spainhour, MSN, RN, Geriatric Clinical Nurse Specialist and HELP Coordinator, and HELP Volunteer Mollee Kennedy visit the studio to give us details on the HELP Volunteer Program at Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital. HELP, Hospital Elder Life Program, aims to curb the decline in mental and physical ability in elderly patients and relies heavily on trained volunteers. The two women gave some caregiver tips for caring for older adults and urged people to look into volunteering for this rewarding program.
