RVA ‘Cat Snake’ listing turns up on Craigslist

Posted

RICHMOND, Va. -- Craigslist can be a good lost and found go to if you find something that belongs to someone else.

But one post CBS 6 staffers spotted on the site may have been added just for a laugh.

A Richmond ad posted Sunday just before 4 p.m. claims to have found somebody's ferret -- but the writer appears confused as the listing is titled: "Found! Cat snake?"

The listing goes on to describe the creature.

"Found (assuming) pet. Some sort of cat snake? Long and nimble but with dryish fur and cat teeth. Seems to like cat food, but isn't a cat. Please come take this off my hands it smells weird," the listing reads.

At any rate, if the poster really did find somebody's "Cat Snake," we hope it makes it back to its rightful owner.
