NEW YORK — Actor and comedian Jason Biggs tweeted a joke about the crash of Malaysian Airlines flight 17 and created a firestorm of anger on Twitter.

The flight had 295 people on board and officials said it was shot down Thursday near the Ukraine/Russia border.
Biggs was quickly criticized for the joke.
