Millions of children have grown up watching Reading Rainbow, and maybe you did too. A new Kickstarter campaign has already raised over a million dollars to bring the kid’s show back as a web series. Over 30,000 donors have pledged more than enough needed.
The long time host, Levar Burton says he wants to continue helping the one in four kids in the United States who will grow up illiterate.
