TURLOCK, Calif. (KXTV) - A high school talent show has propelled a student in California onto the world stage. All he had to do was imitate the King of Pop.
Brett Nichols, a junior at Pitman High, is a global star now that his Michael Jackson dance video went viral on YouTube.
"It's something else. I'm enjoying it for what it is. It's tiring but good fun," Nichols said. "I got to admit, it's been interesting. I've never ever experienced so much so quickly."
Nichols said he plans to get into filmmaking and choreography. Reviews of his Michael Jackson moves are off the charts. MTV said his footwork was better than the "Billie Jean" hologram that performed at the Billboard Music Awards.
