HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Police released photos of a man wanted for stealing a vehicle and using the debit card found inside the car to go shopping.
The 2001 Chevrolet 4-door Malibu was taken Tuesday or Wednesday from the 5600 block of Crenshaw Road, police said. That is near Chamberlayne Ave. and Azalea Ave.
“[A] debit card had been left inside the vehicle prior to the vehicle being stolen,” Henrico Police said.
The card was later used at convenience stores on Hull Street and Broad Rock Boulevard in the city. Photos of the man who used the card were released by Henrico Police.
“The suspect is a black male, wearing a black jacket, black hat, and blue jeans,” Henrico Police said. “Anyone with information regarding these offenses is asked to contact Henrico Police at (804) 501-5000 or Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.”
