BOSTON (WTVR) — Several dozen members of the Richmond Road Runners Club are joining 36,000 other Boston marathoners to tackle the 26.2 mile course from Hopkinton to downtown Boston in honor of beloved mother of three killed by an alleged DUI driver in Hanover County.
Meg Menzies was a dedicated, hard-core runner. Meg was honing her Boston Marathon skills on Jan. 13 when she was killed by an alleged DUI driver in Hanover County.
CBS 6 News’ Greg McQuade and photojournalist Jesse Burkett met up Sunday morning with Soles of Love founder Kel Kelly and Richmond Road Runners Club coach Mike Davi at the Soles of Love memorial in Hopkinton, Mass.
The “Soles of Love” memorial for Meg Menzies is located next to the “Spirit of the Marathon” near start line of Boston Marathon.
