(CNN) — Enrollment in Affordable Care Act exchanges stands at 7.5 million people — up from 7.1 million earlier this month — Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said Thursday.
She spoke Thursday at a Senate Finance Committee hearing.
The White House confirmed that an additional 400,000 have enrolled since President Barack Obama’s announcement on April 1 that 7.1 million people had signed up on federal or state exchanges for health care coverage.
