OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (WTVR/KFOR) - An Oklahoma City woman arrested for shopping at the mall over the weekend said she has a drug problem and people should be understanding of her mental condition.
The woman and a mall security guard got into a wrestling match after the suspected shoplifter left Buckle clothing store and, according to police, tried to shoplift merchandise hidden in a Dillards bag.
The security officer twice called for back up during the confrontation, witnessed said. An Oklahoma City Police Officer did show up several minutes later.
The woman lost her top as she attempted to escape the security guard's grip.
The suspect has a history of larceny, according to Oklahoma City Police.
