HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - One week after they were charged with vandalizing more than 50 Hanover County homes and vehicles, investigators charged two teenagers with setting brush fires in the same Battlefield Green subdivision.
While the vandalism happened in December, the brush fires burned early in the morning of March 1, according to Hanover Fire-EMS spokesman
Battalion Chief Jason Williams. Fire marshals worked with Hanover Sherriff’s investigators in this case.
“We take all fires seriously, especially fires that are intentionally set," Hanover Fire-EMS Chief Jethro Piland. "Our strong partnership with the Hanover County Sherriff’s Office was instrumental in solving this case.
