WAYNESBORO, Va. (WTVR) — Funeral plans for Waynesboro Police Department reservist captain Kevin Quick have been announced.

Quick‘s body was found last week in Goochland County after he had disappeared after leaving his mother’s Afton home on Friday, Jan. 31.

A visitation will be held Sunday, Feb. 16 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Cornerstone Church of Augusta at 1156 Tinkling Spring Rd. in Staunton.

A memorial service will take place Monday, Feb. 17 at 10:30 a.m. at the John Paul Jones Arena at 295 Massie Rd. in Charlottesville.

The public is asked to park in the designated parking area at John Paul Jones Arena.

After the memorial service, the Quick family is asking for privacy during Quick’s burial since the gravesite at the family’s church will not accommodate a large gathering.

Six people  have been arrested in connection with Quick’s disappearance and death.

A memorial fund has been set up for Quick. You can make donations to the Waynesboro Police Foundation.
