RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) -- A family of three and another man are out their homes at the Dutch Village Townhomes on the 3800 block of Guilder Lane.
That's where Richmond firefighters responded to smoke and fire in several HVAC units in the ceiling of a townhome.

Crews got the call around 5:18 a.m. of a fire alarm going off. The fire was marked under control within 30 minutes according to Lt. Robbie Hagaman of the Richmond Fire Dept.

Two townhomes suffered smoke damage and the Red Cross is helping those who were displaced.
