RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – The creator of the hit television series ‘Breaking Bad’ was out on the town Thursday night. Central Virginia native Vince Gilligan, 46, stopped by Heritage on Main Street in the Fan for dinner, Heritage owner/chef Joe Sparatta posted on Facebook.
Gilligan signed a menu and praised the establishment.
A Facebook commenter said he spotted Gilligan dining at Amuse at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts late last month.
Gilligan who lived in Richmond, Farmville and Chesterfield attended L.C. Bird High School. After graduating from New York University, Gilligan wrote on “The X-Files” and later created “Breaking Bad.”
His parents still live in the area.
“I’ve never not been in Virginia for Christmas, and it will be a sad day if it comes that I don’t manage to get back,” Gilligan told the Richmond Times-Dispatch in 2011.
