Serious accident on Providence Road sends three to hospital

CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WTVR) -- Two victims have been sent to VCU Medical Center with life threatening injuries after a serious accident.

Chesterfield police responded to the incident on Providence Road at 11:12 p.m Sunday night.

Both cars were traveling south when one car tried to pass another vehicle. That car clipped the other, causing both vehicles to run off the road.

Police said 18-year-old Kristopher Leon Holliday, of North Chesterfield County, was transported to Chippenham Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Two other occupants, whose identities are being withheld at their families' request, were transported to MCV with life threatening injuries.

Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
