ASHLAND, Va. (WTVR)– Ashland police are searching for a man who robbed a convenience store with a hunting rifle early Sunday morning.
It happened at the 7-Eleven, located at the 100 block of South Carter Road, around 4 a.m.
According to the Ashland Police Department, a man walked into the store and pulled out what investigators believe was a hunting rifle and demanded money.
The clerk cooperated with him, and the suspect ran off on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as a male, who was last seen wearing a dark jacket and a grey hooded sweatshirt. He was wearing a dark-colored bandanna to cover his face.
