Hundreds of volunteers put the "giving" in Thanksgiving today.
For the eighth year the Giving Heart community Thanksgiving feast welcomed those who may have otherwise had to go without a meal for the holiday.
They planned for 3,000 people to attend the event, which was hosted at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. People came together with strangers and shared a meal, along with their personal stories.
