CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Police arrested a Chesterfield teenager for robbing the 7-Eleven at 12120 Harrowgate Rd. just after midnight.
The 17-year-old approached the clerk, displayed what appeared to be a handgun and demanded cash, police said. The teen ran off after getting the cash.
“Within minutes of the robbery, police apprehended the suspect nearby. Investigators determined that the weapon displayed during the incident was a pellet gun,” police said.
Police charged the teenager with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, abduction and kidnapping and wearing a mask in public.
