CULPEPER, Va. (WTVR) — A Culper man is facing charges after an officer heard an Orange County woman screaming for help at a mobile home park early Thursday morning.

A Culpeper officer was called out for a disturbance at the mobile home park in the 400 block of James Madison Highway just after midnight.

When an officer arrived, he heard what sounded like a woman in distress inside a trailer. Once inside the dwelling, the officer arrested 37-year-old Andres Garcia Morales.

A detective took the 23-year-old victim to an area hospital for examination and treatment for minor injuries.

Culpeper police charged Morales, of the 400 block of James Madison Highway, with rape.
