RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) - November 11th is Veterans Day, a day that honors those who have served in the U.S. Armed Services. The Richmond Band of Brothers and Sisters Combat Support Group is hosting its annual 'Welcome Home Picnic'. U.S. Army combat nurse, Major Tonia Golden, Group Coordinator and Veteran Lawrence Davis and Co-Coordinator Oscar Kimbrough shared more details. The 'Welcome Home Picnic' is Saturday, November 9th from 11am to 4pm at the American Legion post number 137 on Sunlight Avenue in Richmond.
