CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - Fire crews were able to extinguish an overnight townhouse fire on East Briar Patch Drive in Chesterfield.

A neighbor called 911 after seeing flames coming from the vacant town home. The cause of the 1 a.m. fire remains under investigation.

No one was injured, but fire officials evacuated some neighbors as a precaution.

Investigators said it appeared the fire started in an exterior storage shed then spread to the town home.
