Helping To Bring Awareness To Dyslexia

RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) -  "Decoding Dyslexia Day" is coming up here in Richmond and there's a special program and documentary screening at the Byrd that will  offer an opportunity to learn more about this disorder and ask questions.  Nancy Foy, head of the New Community School and the event’s Keynote Speaker, Peter Wright, Nationally Recognized Expert on special education law, shared more details.  You can catch the documentary 'The Big Picture: Rethinking Dyslexia' Saturday, October 26^th  at the Byrd Theater, in Carytown. Doors open at noon,  Peter Wright will speak at 12:30pm followed by the screening at 1:30pm.This is free and open to the public along with a resource fair that will be going on from 12pm to 4.
