RICHMOND, VA, (WTVR): Broadway in Richmond is bringing the Tony award-winning play "War Horse" to Richmond's Landmark Theater October 29th through November 3rd. The story of "War Horse" based on the novel by Michael Morpurgo, is an imaginative tale of loyalty and friendship, it tells the story of a boy and his beloved horse, Joey.
"War Horse" is the winner of five 2011 Tony Awards. The production, a two-hour and 40 minutes of full-scale horses brought to life on stage by South Africa's Handspring Puppet Company.
